Having started my career with modest aspirations, life led me to stumble into my own artistry, and taught me to play with a passion that was all the sharper for its unexpected discovery. Forty years later that passion extends to sharing with students how to find their own artistry, writing music, and even getting into the digital world of musical production.

Clouds Over Calmar is a first book of duos for violin – 29 duos for students with teacher accompaniment, from beginner to early intermediate. I started writing these a few years ago for my students to play. Somehow it turned into a whole book! They are fun to play and they'll help develop and integrate your essential violin skills from beginner into intermediate levels. Play with your teacher or with the online accompaniment videos. All the pieces are original compositions.
